Project
You will be involved in a financial project focused on improving enterprise server support, optimizing infrastructure performance, and enhancing reliability of IT operations across a hybrid and cloud environment.
Responsibilities you’ll have

Collaborate with Server Engineering teams (governance, security, architecture & design) on infrastructure initiatives

Work closely with an external support provider handling daily server operations
-
Reduce the number and duration of major incidents across server environments
-
Optimize resources, including servers, licenses, and operational workload
-
Improve support processes for IT operations and development teams
-
Participate in defining and driving the future of server infrastructure
Expected competences and knowledge
-
5+ years of experience managing large-scale RHEL/Unix environments
-
Hands-on experience with RedHat Satellite and platform management tools
-
Strong knowledge of GCP and cloud compute operations
-
Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
-
Ability to manage configuration consistency and ensure security/compliance
-
Experience with monitoring tools for Linux/Unix and cloud infrastructure
-
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in daily server operations and incident handling
-
Knowledge of IT governance (procedures, patching, hardening, compliance)

Analytical, proactive, and quality-driven mindset

Strong team player with ownership attitude

English at B2 level
- Nice to have:
- Experience with other Unix systems such as Solaris, AIX, IBMi
- Experience supporting virtual machines in VMware environments
- Experience in financial institutions or regulated enviroments

You’ll meet with our HR team to discuss your experience, approach to software development, and teamwork. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of the conversation. Then, you’ll take part in a technical interview focused on your skills and problem-solving mindset.
If both interviews go well, we’ll match you with a project aligned with your skills and expectations. You’ll then meet the client – this is where the final project-related decision is made.
Based on feedback and your preferences, we’ll prepare an offer tailored to your experience. We’ll agree on the project, salary, type of contract, and your start date.
We start with a short phone conversation to get to know each other. We’ll talk about your experience, career goals, and motivation, while giving you a chance to learn more about Jit Team and the role.
Depending on the role, you’ll complete a short recruitment task to showcase your skills. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of this stage.
