2010
Jit is founded by two friends, Mariusz Bessman & Bartosz Cieśliński, who manage the company to this day.
The history of the company began in Gdynia under the name Jit Solutions, with orange as the main brand colour.

Shortly after founding the company, we began working with our first client – one of the largest Scandinavian banks. This partnership continues to this day.
Over the years, this collaboration has grown into one of our greatest success stories: today, the team dedicated to this client counts 250+ Jiters.

2014
This is the year when Traffit was born. Adrian Wolak, a Jit employee at the time, had been developing his idea for an ATS system for some time.
When the concept proved viable, Mariusz and Bartek supported Adrian in spinning it off as a separate company. Today, Traffit serves multiple major clients worldwide.

2017
In 2017, as a next step in our growth, we started the process of opening our office in the capital city of Poland.
Our first office was located on Twarda street. Currently you can find us on Przyokopowa street.

2018
We really liked our orange Jit Solutions visual identification, but together with the company’s growth it was time to refresh our image.
We also changed the name to Jit Team so that it fits with our philosophy – The human factor of IT.

2018
Over seven years, Jit had grown substantially. Therefore since 2017, every year, we organize a yearly summary for all Jiters, so that they can be up to date with all the changes and plans. It’s also an excellent occasion to celebrate what we have achieved so far. The event is streamed online to all our locations.
2020
Since 2020, Jiters have had access to camping trailers located in the first row of the beach on the beautiful Hel Peninsula throughout the summer season. The Jit Team Summer Office is a place to work remotely, bond with the team, and spend time with loved ones.
2022
It was a break-through year. We surpassed 500 employees and exceeded PLN 100 million in revenue for the first time.
2022 also brought the decision to open an office in Rzeszow.

This was the year during which the first edition of the Jit4Tech conference took place. It was the Jit Communities leaders’ initiative to share knowledge and tech novelties with all Jiters. Currently this event gathers more than 250 people on site and is streamed online.

Another step in our development was starting a branch in Cracow, where numerous current and prospective clients have their offices.
Our office is located in the historical building called “Szkieletor” at Lubomirskiego 20 street, offering beautiful views of the entire city from the 24th floor.

2025
2025 brought us 2 significant milestones. Firstly we were celebrating 15 years on the market with each year being better than previous ones both in terms of headcount and revenue.
The second significant achievement was exceeding the number of 700 Jiters on board.

2026
After almost 16 years in Gdynia we decided to move our HQ to Gdansk. We are currently located at Nad Stawem 3 Street in Wrzeszcz.
Our new office is excellently located at a cross of all public transportation and has a great connection to the airport. For the first time in Jit’s history we also have a terrace.
