Project
You will be involved in a financial project for a leading Nordic bank focused on the home buying journey, covering the full mortgage process and customer lifecycle. The role includes end-to-end testing of applications and surrounding ecosystems, ensuring high quality across complex workflows and integrations in an international Agile environment.
Responsibilities you’ll have

Perform end-to-end testing of applications and related ecosystems within the mortgage domain

Analyze requirements, design comprehensive test scenarios, create detailed test cases, and execute manual functional tests across full user workflows

Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, collaborate with developers, and perform retesting and regression testing

Review functional requirements for completeness and testability, participate in refinement sessions, and ensure acceptance criteria are clear and testable

Verify integration points between system components, validate data flow, and test third-party integrations from a functional perspective

Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners, participate in Agile ceremonies, and communicate test progress and estimates

Provide test status reports and quality metrics, assess release readiness, and support UAT activities

Plan and execute regression testing for each release
Expected competences and knowledge

Senior-level testing background (8+ years), preferably with mortgage domain knowledge

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to quality and detail

Manual testing skills covering functional, system, integration, and API testing

Proven involvement in end-to-end testing across complex systems
- General testing knowledge to the level of ISTQB Foundation Level

Practical knowledge of test management tools (qTest or similar such as Xray/HP ALM)

Experience working in Agile teams and using Jira/Confluence

Ability to define, execute, and report tests for complex software systems

You’ll meet with our HR team to discuss your experience, approach to software development, and teamwork. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of the conversation. Then, you’ll take part in a technical interview focused on your skills and problem-solving mindset.
If both interviews go well, we’ll match you with a project aligned with your skills and expectations. You’ll then meet the client – this is where the final project-related decision is made.
Based on feedback and your preferences, we’ll prepare an offer tailored to your experience. We’ll agree on the project, salary, type of contract, and your start date.

Depending on the role, you’ll complete a short recruitment task to showcase your skills. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of this stage.
