Project
The project focuses on the development and maintenance of critical payment capabilities within a large-scale digital platform serving millions of active users. It centers on delivering solutions that support payments across multiple digital channels while ensuring regulatory compliance, scalability, and high system availability.
The initiative includes parallel efforts related to implementing new payment regulations, driving business growth objectives, and transforming infrastructure, including modernization of payment systems and simplification of architecture. The project also aims to increase team throughput and accelerate delivery of new features to meet market demands and reduce the risk of delays in key strategic and regulatory initiatives.
Responsibilities you’ll have

Development and maintenance of iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C

Designing and implementing application architecture (MVVM / VIPER)

Building UI using UIKit (programmatic UI, Auto Layout) and developing components in SwiftUI

Integrating applications with backend systems via REST APIs

Managing asynchronous operations and optimizing application performance

Creating and maintaining unit and automated tests (XCTest, mocking)

Designing modular application structure and managing dependencies

Actively participating in application testing to improve delivery flow and eliminate QA bottlenecks

Collaborating with backend and cross-platform teams (Android, Web)

Participating in code reviews and ensuring high code quality

Contributing to architectural and technical decision-making
Expected competences and knowledge
- Several years (5+) of experience in iOS application development
- Unit Testing & Mocking – XCTest for unit and TestAutomation and Swift Testing framework,
- Architectural Patterns (VIPER/MVVM)
- Advanced Swift & Objective-C knowledge and expertise, as well the Swift – Objective-C Interoperability
- Programmatic UI & Auto Layout (with emphasis on UIKit), SwiftUI would be a nice addon, but not required as of today (from the perspective of our codebase, however we would expect that the candidate knows SwiftUI)
- Experience with modular design and dependency management
- Networking & Concurrency: The candidate should have a solid understanding of consuming REST APIs, handling asynchronous operations, queues and asynchronous code
- Have excellent communication skills
- Payment domain knowledge is a plus
- Backend development experience (Java) is a plus
- Are an engineer by heart
- Actively participate in application testing to prevent QA bottlenecks during high delivery periods. By contributing to testing, you help maintain flow, reduce delays, and improve overall team efficiency.
Nice to have
- Able to understand android and web frontend (Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript), because it helps you to get our platforms aligned
