Project
- Monitoring and developing changes to the product initiated by the customer or the Inteva Products design team. Translation of these changes to production while maintaining the quality requirements and monitoring of timing and costs
- Plan, organize and conduct activities within its area in an effective manner towards achieving
common objectives of Inteva Products Engineering Europe as well as the company - Report deviations from the standard and take appropriate measures and corrective actions
- Take action to achieve the operational objectives set out in production plans and indicators (KPIs)
- Deputy to ENP419 (Senior Product Engineer / Lead Engineer)
- Support customer / supplier / manufacturing plant liaison
- Support that product designs consider:
– design for assembly / DFA
– design for manufacture / DFM
– Quality functional deployment /QFD
– Support element analysis data
– Support CAE simulations (MoldFlow, FEA etc.)
– Support dimensional variation analysis (in conjunction with DVA specialist) - Support Tool Timing for specific parts with product development / customer milestone information
- Support for specific parts that off tool parts meet the defined product design and required quality
- expectations and define action plan
- Support engineering elements of customer part approval (PPAP) like FuFo / homologation
- Support to all crucial tool trial for specific parts, tool sign off and shipping of tools to their respective manufacturing destination
- Support that the process is robust prior to tool shipment
- Support to determine and apply the most appropriate and cost-effective solutions
- Support technical purchase issues
- Provide for design resolution as an extension of and in cooperation with the customer engineering
team - For New Product Introduction (NPI) programs the Product Engineer shall fulfil the nominated position
as defined in Inteva Products APQP system (RASIC)
Expected competences:
- 4 years’ experience in automotive product engineering department or 7 years’ experience in
automotive production engineering department - Bachelor and/or Diploma degree in automotive, plastics engineering, mechanical engineering or 7
years’ experience in automotive production engineering department - Knowledge of customer requirements and company manufacturing product and processes
- Fluent in English (Polish and German is a nice to have non mandatory)
- FMEA training or 4-year experience in automotive production sector in engineering department
- Working knowledge of job-related technical skills: GD&T, DFM, DFA, CAE/FEA, CAD, FMEA, DVP&R.
- Cradle to Grave project experience including process and tool maturation and program launch.
- Experience in surface development desirable.
- Conversant with major CAD systems applicable to automotive design.
- Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability in the location of work including business travel
