Project
In this role, the ECAD Engineer will be responsible for the electronic design for high-volume manufacturing, ensuring high quality and suitability for harsh environments, specifically for Engine Control Units, 48V projects and High Voltage Power Electronics products, mainly Inverters. Tasks will be mostly focused on development of Printed Circuit Boards and related documentation.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop PCB Layout Design with Mentor Xpedition
- Create and release the related documentation to PCB design
- Lead the layout of Printed Circuit Boards by working closely with Electrical team
- Support Manufacturing Development and Test teams located in the manufacturing plants.
- Layout design activities execution in a timely manner.
- Plan, prepare, and execute tests.
- Actively participate and interact with other BorgWarner sites across different
regions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Experience in PCB design for EMI/EMC compliance is a plus
- Previous design experience in Power Electronics is a plus.
- Proficient in PC applications, MS Office, CAD programs and simulation tools.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
