Project
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT / Business Analyst to join a large-scale transformation initiative within the cards and payments area.
This is a senior, hands-on analytical role with significant ownership and plenty of opportunity to shape the position around the right candidate. You will work across business and technology, supporting complex transformation initiatives from early discovery and requirements definition through implementation, migration and validation.
Responsibilities you’ll have

Lead end-to-end analysis across complex card transformation initiatives, translating business objectives into clear, prioritised and implementable requirements

Own business, functional and non-functional requirements throughout the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and solution design to development, testing, migration and post-implementation validation

Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions with business, product, architecture, development, testing, operations and migration teams across the Nordics and EDCs.Perform current-state, target-state, gap and impact analysis across processes, systems, integrations, data and card portfolios

Contribute to target solution design and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, regulatory requirements and Mastercard/Visa scheme requirements

Define acceptance criteria and support test planning, defect clarification, migration readiness and solution validation

Identify dependencies, assumptions, risks and requirement gaps at an early stage and provide clear recommendations to support decision-making

Use approved AI and Generative AI tools to support requirements analysis, documentation, feature refinement, knowledge retrieval and quality reviews

Identify opportunities to introduce valuable AI-enabled improvements to analysis and delivery practices

Share knowledge, analytical methods and domain expertise to strengthen the team’s overall delivery quality
Expected competences and knowledge
-
Several years of experience as a Senior IT Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or in a comparable analytical role
-
Experience within banking, payments or another regulated and technology-intensive environment
-
Strong hands-on experience with requirements elicitation and management, process and system analysis, impact assessment, traceability, acceptance criteria and solution validation

Proven ability to own complex requirements across the full solution delivery lifecycle
-
Experience working on large-scale transformation initiatives involving multiple systems, teams and stakeholders
-
Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure complex or ambiguous problems into clear requirements and actionable solutions

Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, including senior stakeholders

Experience working in SAFe or another Agile delivery model

Strong ownership and an independent, pragmatic and outcome-focused approach

Good understanding of AI/Generative AI, including identifying suitable use cases, prompt creation and critical evaluation of AI-generated outputs

Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional environment
