Project
Join an innovative automotive project focused on the development of advanced high-voltage power electronics controllers for next-generation electrified vehicles. The role combines functional safety engineering, system architecture design, and close collaboration with international customers to ensure compliance with the highest automotive safety standards.
What you will be doing:
- Interface with a customer to evaluate safety goals, functional safety requirements; specify power electronics inverter controller safety concept
- Perform risk safety analyses
- Generate technical safety requirements (detailed product safety requirement)
- Generate power electronics controllers technical safety concept (system architecture)
- Align on technical safety concept with customer and monitor the integration of it in developed product
- Support and track generation of product functional test plan (compliance testing)
- Support and track product functional testing on test bench and car
- Support customer test and validation programs
Expected competences:
- Masters or Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics or similar
- Experience with of Automotive High-Voltage Power Electronics systems is a benefit
- Knowledge on ISO26262 product development process
- Knowledge of requirements elicitation, analysis, definition, and management as well as experience with requirement management tools (e.g. Polarion) and development processes models like A-SPICE
- Experience in safety analysis (SFMEA, FTA, FMEDA, SW Freedom from Interference)
- Good foundation knowledge of both hardware and software
- Fluency in English is required. German and/or French would be an advantage
- Organized and structured work-style and attention to detail
- Occasional travel, domestic and international

You’ll meet with our HR team to discuss your experience, approach to software development, and teamwork. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of the conversation. Then, you’ll take part in a technical interview focused on your skills and problem-solving mindset.
If both interviews go well, we’ll match you with a project aligned with your skills and expectations. You’ll then meet the client – this is where the final project-related decision is made.
Based on feedback and your preferences, we’ll prepare an offer tailored to your experience. We’ll agree on the project, salary, type of contract, and your start date.
We start with a short phone conversation to get to know each other. We’ll talk about your experience, career goals, and motivation, while giving you a chance to learn more about Jit Team and the role.
Depending on the role, you’ll complete a short recruitment task to showcase your skills. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of this stage.
