Project
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support and develop a cloud-based data platform built on AWS and Snowflake. The role focuses on enabling near real-time data processing, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities you’ll have
- Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (IaC approach)
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for data and platform components
- Support and optimize Snowflake environment (performance, cost, security)
- Enable and maintain near real-time data pipelines and integrations
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes
- Troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability of the platform
- Act as a technical advisor for DevOps and cloud best practices
- Continuously improve platform performance, reliability, and security
Expected competences and knowledge
- Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g. Lambda, S3, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Strong experience with Snowflake (optimization, data pipelines, security)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI or similar)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Good knowledge of SQL and Python
- Experience with data platforms / data warehousing concepts
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Understanding of DevOps practices and automation
- Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
