Project
You will be involved in a financial project focused on Transaction Monitoring and Anti-Money Laundering (AML). The initiative includes developing new data integrations, creating monitoring scenarios, testing solutions, and supporting deployments across multiple markets.
As a Scoring Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and optimizing detection models that help identify suspicious financial activities while improving monitoring effectiveness and reducing false positives.
Responsibilities you’ll have

Design and configure detection logic and scoring models within a monitoring platform

Develop and enhance AML Transaction Monitoring use cases, including Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing scenarios

Analyze contextual and transactional data to identify suspicious activity patterns

Calibrate scoring models, define thresholds, and ensure score explainability in line with regulatory requirements

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions

Support junior team members

Contribute to Agile delivery processes
Expected competences and knowledge

Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis and data-driven solution development

Experience working on financial crime, AML, or Transaction Monitoring projects

Understanding of AML regulations and suspicious activity detection processes

Experience designing, configuring, or optimizing scoring and monitoring models
-
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex datasets

Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
Nice to have
- Knowledge of financial products and receivables processes
- Experience with the Quantexa platform

You’ll meet with our HR team to discuss your experience, approach to software development, and teamwork. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of the conversation. Then, you’ll take part in a technical interview focused on your skills and problem-solving mindset.
If both interviews go well, we’ll match you with a project aligned with your skills and expectations. You’ll then meet the client – this is where the final project-related decision is made.
Based on feedback and your preferences, we’ll prepare an offer tailored to your experience. We’ll agree on the project, salary, type of contract, and your start date.
We start with a short phone conversation to get to know each other. We’ll talk about your experience, career goals, and motivation, while giving you a chance to learn more about Jit Team and the role.
Depending on the role, you’ll complete a short recruitment task to showcase your skills. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of this stage.
