Project
Responsibilities you’ll have
- Support the migration from NDMP to DNAS backup policies

Configure, administer and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup environments

Manage and optimize Dell Data Domain backup storage solutions
-
Perform backup migration activities and support project delivery milestones
-
Monitor backup performance and implement optimization improvements
-
Conduct capacity planning and backup environment assessments
-
Investigate and resolve backup-related incidents and issues
-
Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
-
Collaborate with storage and infrastructure teams during migration activities

Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to BAU support teams
Expected competences and knowledge
- Strong hands-on experience with Veritas NetBackup administration and troubleshooting
- Solid expertise in NDMP and DNAS backup policies
- Experience with Dell Data Domain administration and integration
- Knowledge of backup migration projects and enterprise backup environments
- Experience in backup capacity management and performance optimization
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to work independently in a senior technical role
- Experience creating technical documentation and operational procedures
- Strong communication and knowledge-sharing skills
Nice to have
- Experience with NAS migration projects
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms

You’ll meet with our HR team to discuss your experience, approach to software development, and teamwork. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of the conversation. Then, you’ll take part in a technical interview focused on your skills and problem-solving mindset.
If both interviews go well, we’ll match you with a project aligned with your skills and expectations. You’ll then meet the client – this is where the final project-related decision is made.
Based on feedback and your preferences, we’ll prepare an offer tailored to your experience. We’ll agree on the project, salary, type of contract, and your start date.
We start with a short phone conversation to get to know each other. We’ll talk about your experience, career goals, and motivation, while giving you a chance to learn more about Jit Team and the role.
Depending on the role, you’ll complete a short recruitment task to showcase your skills. We’ll also verify your English language proficiency as part of this stage.
